Open source licenses

NOALBS Cloud stands on the work of a lot of open source projects. Thank you to everyone who builds and maintains them. This page lists what we use and under which licenses.

NOALBS Cloud

NOALBS Cloud is open source too, under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 or later. The source code of what runs here is on GitHub. Copyright © 2026 Brian Spit and contributors.

The dashboard and the OBS browser source

The code your browser runs, with the full license text of every library: third-party-licenses.txt. It includes the Geist and Geist Mono fonts, which are licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.

The servers

The Rust crates our servers are built from, with the license each one declares: rust-licenses.txt. Where a crate offers a choice (for example “MIT OR Apache-2.0”) we use it under whichever of the two we like. Their source and full license texts are in the repositories linked there.

BELABOX and Moblin

NOALBS Cloud can remote control a BELABOX and a phone running Moblin. Those parts of our servers speak the protocols of these projects, written from their source code. Thank you to both.

BELABOX (belaUI and BELABOX Cloud’s remote protocol): Copyright © 2020–2022 BELABOX project, licensed under the GNU General Public License v3.0.

Moblin (source, its remote control): Copyright © 2023 Erik Moqvist, licensed under the MIT License.

The notices and license texts: third-party-notices.txt.
